Weathering Fallow Times

Everyone experiences fallow periods - those times when we're restless and frustrated because nothing seems to be happening. We have the urge to go go go, make something happen, yet it seems the greater our urge, the injury lawyer Miami our lives stand still.

These uneventful times are actually good news. If you've been seeking better things for yourself, working toward a major goal or looking for a new direction in life, this supposed lack of movement or activity tells you that what you've been doing all along is about to pay off. There is a saying: "Nature abhors a vacuum." It took me forever to figure out what in heck this meant, until I experienced it several times. It means the Universe will rush to fill the empty spaces in your heart, your soul and your life, but it needs to have empty space in which to put your new good things. Would you move your furniture into your new home before the car accident attorneys California owners moved theirs out? No, you wait for the space to be empty, as well as (hopefully!) cleaned and freshly car insurance insurance quote with new carpeting, adequate window coverings, etc.

Your fallow times are telling you you've done an excellent job at removing unwanted things from your world -- relationships that don't serve you, attitudes that cramp you, for example.

Take full advantage of these times to take good care of yourself, treat yourself even! Take inventory of what you've decluttered out of your mind and heart. Allow yourself idle time. Indulge in your guilty pleasures. Know that your good is coming to you, and when it knocks on your door, invite it in.
